A big thank you for all those women (and men!) who made the church so beautifully bright, colourful and joyous on Easter Day. (credit to Angela Davies for the photos of the floral arrangements). Coco the Guineapig made a surprise visit to the Easter Garden too. Here is a poem in her honour:

Coco in the Easter Garden

In Southwick Church this Easter day,
By the altar where the flowers lay,
A tiny guest with whiskers neat
Made the garden scene complete.

Coco the guinea pig, soft and round,
Sniffed at the moss upon the ground,
Near the stone where hope was told—
The Easter story, bright and bold.

Among the blooms and morning light,
She nestled close, a gentle sight,
A little life, so warm and small,
Reminding joy can grow for all.

So while the lilies reached the sky,
And songs of resurrection rose high,
Coco sat in quiet grace—
A furry blessing in that sacred place.
