Pebbles Parent and Toddler Group We run Mon and Tues 9.30-11.30am (Term Time). Refreshments are provided for all and nappy changing facilities are available. Pebbles Pricing:

CASH PAYMENTS

We welcome ages 0–5 and provide a variety of age appropriate toys, large soft play area, crafts, snack and refreshments for all, songs, parachute and story time. Pebbles Parent and Toddlers Group offers a safe and bright environment for 0–5 year olds, based at Emmanuel Baptist Church and run by The Garden Preschool team. We provide a large soft play area, table-top activities, ride and push-along

toys, song time with musical instruments plus parachute play and story time to finish. Session times are: Monday and Tuesday 9.30–11.30am. Per Child £2.50 (aged 1 – 4 years)
2. Accompanying sibling £1 (aged 1 – 4 years) i.e., Total of £3.50
3. Per Child £1.00 (aged 6 months – 1 year)

Children under 6 months are free of charge

From January 2025, our prices will be:

Under 6 months - FREE
6 months - 1 year - £1.50
1 year plus - £3.00
Sibling rate, plus £1.50

Spaces are available on the door on a first come, first served basis.

Well we are hoping the book about Summer that we read in our Pebbles sessions this week has brought the sunshine a little closer again! And it is lovely to talk with the little ones about the changes and colours of each season as it arrives…

Bubble play was also on the agenda this week and with a bit of bubble bath and a whisk, the magic happens and a tray of bubbles can lead in all sorts of directions through the imaginative play of a child!

Once again it was a pleasure to host all of you lovely families - we love to welcome you here to Pebbles, and we hope you and your children have enjoyed spending time with us…

Please remember any dads and male carers out there, this weekend we will also be hosting Dads’ Pebbles, for you and your little ones… Saturday - same time, same place.

Welcome back to Pebbles this week after a lovely treat of sunshine last week in Falmouth! It has been a busy week of play again - we always love providing water and plants to make potions and help small hands to practise filling and pouring…

Our story theme was ‘planting a rainbow’ and we read about the many colours we see when we look at different plants and flowers around us - all the colours of the rainbow!

At the craft table the children enjoyed making their own flower pictures using paper cake cases, it was lovely to see so many parents and carers sat together with the children for some creative crafting!

We look forward to seeing you again next week here at Pebbles…bye for now!

So this week we have enjoyed painting pots and planting a sunflower seed together, it was lovely to see the children thinking about how to grow a seed - please do let us know how your sunflowers are doing over the coming weeks, we look forward to hearing how they grow bigger and bigger….

The theme of planting has allowed us to have fun with edible soil and spaghetti worms in our tuff tray this week!

Thank you to all of you for bringing your warmth and friendship to Pebbles, we know in the early days, weeks and months of parenthood there are joys and struggles… sharing time together over a hot drink and snack can really help to carry us through at times! As a parent to three teenagers, I remember bringing my children to Pebbles and feeling very loved and cared for.

We hope you have enjoyed being with us again - and we all wish you a restful half term break - at least for some of the time!

See you after half term, we will return to welcome you back on Monday 1st June…

We have enjoyed seeing your little ones here again this week at Pebbles! It’s been lovely to meet more new families again this week, we hope you have felt welcomed into our space.

It is great to see the children beginning to explore new friendships as well as toys and resources together, and we hope you parents and caters also feel some time has been afforded for those moments to catch up with others on a similar journey of parenting and caring. Over a hot drink and a piece of cake, of course!

This week we have enjoyed reading the story of ‘the hungry caterpillar’ and the children loved having a go at making their own picture caterpillars to take home!

We look forward to seeing you again next week for more fun and friendship at Pebbles…

Just Tuesday for Pebbles this week, but a lovely session it was!

And we hope you and your families enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend with Falmouth bathed in sunshine on Monday…

At Pebbles we used the theme of animals and the children enjoyed a farm setup in our tuff tray and we made pink pigs to take home…

We hope you have enjoyed Pebbles again this week, a big welcome to the newcomers and regulars alike, and we have missed some of you who haven’t joined us since the Easter break, we hope you and your families will come and join us again soon for more fun, friendship - and of course, cake.

See you next week! Dads don’t forget we have Dads Pebbles this coming Saturday, same place same time. Bring your little ones and join with other dads to have fun together!

It has been wonderful to welcome you all back from our slightly longer Easter break! And we hope you and your families have enjoyed the Easter time.

The children have arrived with smiles and energy ready to play here again at Pebbles, this week we have been thinking about the season of Spring…. Our craft table was laid out with twigs and paper flowers to add pink blossoms, and the tuff tray provided some water play with petals and lavender.

We used some of the last camellias from Nikki’s garden as we know these petals are ideal and safe for child play, and apple tree twigs which again are safe to handle. It’s always worth checking which plants and flowers are safe if you want to add some into your children’s play spaces at home!

It was lovely seeing you all again, as we say each week we love to meet and welcome new faces and we hope you have enjoyed all that Pebbles has to offer here - see you next week!
