Last night we had the honour to host the AGM for Central Division. There was a mix of old and new faces enjoyed the night which included our guest speaker Hannah’s trip to NYC for the tartan parade. Awards for girls, officers and recognition of service given accompanied by the usual scripture and song. Afterwards a relaxed catch up with hot drinks, sausage rolls, scones and some fabulous home baking. Thank you to all that attended, our central President Alison and all the volunteers that help bring the meeting together. See you all next year in Tillicoultry.

Tonight we invited a special guest along to Girls Brigade tonight. Our amazing Mrs C. Next week Mrs C turns 80 but will be away to London to celebrate with her family, so this week we had to make a fuss and celebrate it early with her second family!! Safe to say the girls all thoroughly enjoyed a little bit of cake from the birthday girl! Happy 80th Mrs C!!

Just like that summer is over and we are excited to get back to Girls Brigade Wednesdays.
Our first night back will be tonight Wednesday 20th August with our enrolment night.

We would ask all girls to attend 6pm-7.30pm and also ask if all parents can come in during this time to fill out enrolment forms.

We look forward to seeing all girls- returning and new members!

Girls and Boys all in church on Wednesday for some games and pancake making. Sorry if we sent them home hyper and a sugar high! Older girls then finished photo frames for International Woman’s Day. Safe to say they all had a ball.

Fancy Dress was optional but I think we can all agree there was a great effort put in by the girls who all looked fab.

Games, ghosts and goodie bags what is there not to love about Halloween Parties! Think a good time was had by all including the adults although this adult might have finished work at lunchtime today to recover!!!

I was exhausted and all I was doing was calling the numbers! They got noisier as they got the hang of it!!

Games, finishing icing biscuits and colouring for explorers and juniors. Our transport theme for explorers crossing into Noah’s ark for part of juniors. Ladders is always a fun game but we need a little practice! Brigades were baking again to build up our stock to sell on Sunday. Yum Yum!
