Mrs Budgett and her Year 6 class visited the church today. The children had all written their thoughts and memories of Reverend Sally on white paper doves, and hung them on our prayer tree. Reverend Nicholas led them in a prayer.

You are very welcome to come and add a heart tag to the tree. The church is open every day, roughly 9 to 5.

Next Saturday, 12th September, is a busy day - Norfolk Churches Trust Annual Cycle Ride/Drive, plus the Stibbard Yard Sales.

So that the two events don't get tangled up, we will be relocating the fundraising table on Saturday to Baird House, Guist Bottom Road as part of the yard sales, to raise funds for the church.

We look forward to seeing you!

It is with great sadness that we report the peaceful death of the Reverend Sally Kimmis after a very brief but quite serene journey with cancer. Sally was Team Rector in the Heart of Norfolk team of parishes since 2014.

Bishop Jane will also be holding a short prayer service at 5pm today, Wednesday 2nd September, at St Mary’s Church, North Elmham. All welcome.

May Sally rest in peace and rise in glory!

Come and enjoy the cool, peace and serenity of the church - it's open every day. Take a look at the local history display or the 700 years timeline. Browse the fundraising table, or look at the carved animal pew ends. Sit on our comfy cushions in the prayer corner, and leave a message to God on the prayer tree. Or just come and enjoy the stillness. You are welcome.

You may have been aware that we had a spate of "van lifers" camping overnight in the church car park earlier this year, unaware that it is private land.

We discovered that someone had unfortunately listed our church car park on a parking app! We contacted that admins and they have removed the listing.

Thanks to Charlie for making us this splendid notice - as soon as the ground is soft enough, we will have a couple of posts put in to mount it on.

Of course, residents are welcome to park as usual, and vans are welcome to visit and rest during the day - just no overnight stays.

We hope this reassures those with concerns; please do let Susan or Marian know if the issues persist.
