Gardeners of Eye, would you like to take part in this year’s Eye Open Gardens and open your garden to visitors on Saturday 6 June and Sunday 7 June?

New gardens are always welcome.

Eye Open Gardens is officially open!

🐶🐕‍🦺 - Dogs are permitted in gardens, provided they are on a short leash.

12.30pm until 6.00pm each day
Admission to all gardens is £5.00 per adult
(accompanied children are free)

Tickets available from St Peter and St Paul’s Church
Ticket is valid on both days

Eye Open Gardens ☀️🤞🌱🌺🍦 – just a few days to go... if you want to enter the Flower Arrangement Competition, entry forms can be picked up at The Handyman Store, English Continental and Green Door.

Harry Turner Trophy –
Flower Arrangement Competition
This year we are pleased to award the Harry Turner trophy and small prize to the best flower arrangement. The arrangements will be on display in the church on Saturday and Sunday.

Harry was a former lifelong resident of Eye and a keen gardener and allotment holder who won the Eye Horticultural Society’s Cottager’s trophy on 7 consecutive years. The trophy was returned to the town of Eye during the pandemic by his family and in his memory it was decided to give the trophy a new lease of life by setting up a competition during Eye Open Gardens weekend.
