Eyam Parish Church Eyam Parish Church is at the centre of the plague story and is still a living church made up of people of all ages with a heart for God and community.

Our Bookstall in church is normally stocked with books, maps and pamphlets on the history of Eyam and the church including the plague years of 1665-1666. plus guides for both the Hope Pilgrimage and the Peak Pilgrimage. There are facilities for card payments at the Bookstall. Helpful Books on life as a follower of Jesus Christ including Bibles and Bible reading note's can be obtained from the Eden Books website https://www.eden.co.uk/

Book End on Bridge Street, Bakewell is a small secondhand charity bookshop supporting the work of Bakewell and Eyam Community Transport and is staffed seven days a week by our friendly volunteers.
If you have a few hours to spare and would like to find out about joining our team we'd love to hear from you - volunteering is very flexible, no regular commitment is required and it's a great way to meet people whilst supporting a local charity.

A lovely service full of joy to welcome our new Priest-in-charge Rev Fran Smettem.
Bishop Malcolm licensed her and Archdeacon Nicky installed her.
Young people welcoming her and reading the lesson.
All rounded off with copius delicious cake and drinks.
Thank you to all who helped bring it all together and those who attended to welcome Fran.
