Alpha Woodbury invites you to join us at the White Hart, on Wednesdays starting the 18th September - 27th November at 6:30pm. Lord,

Bring an end to the violence on the streets of the United Kingdom. Protect the police and all those involved in trying to keep the peace. Help those who are rioting to understand the pain that they are causing to already grieving families. Amidst the lies and rumours that are flooding social media about recent events, I pray that You will help our communities not fracture because of fear or break because of bigotry.

Raise up peacemakers in those communities that feel fearful. We pray for those who are frightened to leave their home, intimidated because of the colour of their skin or their story of origin. Help Your people to speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves.

Guide us to a constructive and hopeful place and away from places of destruction and despair.

Truth is stronger than lies.
Hope is stronger than despair.
Faith is stronger than fear.
Love is stronger than hate.
Kindness is stronger than cruelty.
Talking is stronger than ignoring.
Together is stronger than isolation.
Life is stronger than death.
Light is stronger than darkness.

Amen.
