“Lighting a candle is a meaningful act of faith. In Catholic tradition, it symbolises prayer, devotion, and connection with Our Lord.”

There is a lovely opportunity to light a candle at the St. Boniface National Shrine in Crediton, as we approach his feast on 5th June.

If you would like to take part, please follow here: https://catholicchurchcrediton.org/index.php/support-us/light-a-candle

Thank you! God Bless 🕯️🤍

Discovery is a 6-week faith study that leads us through the kerygma, the core message of the Gospel. In a discussion-based setting, it introduces one to God’s love and explains how we can live as true disciples of Christ.

This year, we will be moving onto the ‘Grow’ level, looking at prayer, the Sacraments and fellowship.

“I am the vine, and you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit.” John 15:5

There will be a session every Tuesday from 7pm at the chaplaincy, starting next week. We will have a separate men’s and women’s group. Everyone is welcome, whether you are Catholic, going through RCIA or simply interested in the faith.
