Exeter Quakers

Yes even though I am a Quaker I enjoy singing Evensong and special occasions with this choir. We’ll be on Radio 4 at 08.10 on Sunday. That is definitely special!

We are excited to share with you that we will be singing BBC Radio 4's Sunday Worship on Sunday 18th October at 8:10am. Our anthem has been written for the service and we can't wait to share it with you. We'd love to have as many of you with us, either those who have signed up to be in church or listening on the radio.

There were several hundreds of us and our massive silence together was moving. We completed our silent Walking Vigil for Peace peacefully. Volunteer stewards, instead of police, blocked traffic as we safely circled Trafalgar Square to St Martin’s in the Fields. A triumph of organisation and teamwork.

The meeting room of Come to Good Quaker Meeting south of Truro offers an opportunity to feel the depth of Quaker worship since the seventeenth century. Where horses used to be tethered, I parked my bike. Meanwhile in Truro Cathedral with the Choir of Holy Cross, Crediton, we sing Evensong every day except Saturday until Sunday.
