Wonford Methodist church We are a Christian worshipping community of all ages and backgrounds, meeting in the heart of Wonford.

We seek to serve God, develop a closer relationship with Jesus, support one another on the journey of faith and engage with the community around us. Whether you've had faith for years, have recently discovered God or wrestle with doubts and questions, you can be sure of a warm welcome at Wonford Methodist Church. Our main gathering is on Sunday mornings at 10am for worship, followed by fellowship

over tea and coffee. Worship at Wonford is a blend of creative, contemporary and traditional styles; full of joy our worship seeks to both encourage and challenge as we continue to grow in faith. There are activities and teaching for children and young people during morning worship as part of Young Church. Our morning worship is complemented by a varied programme of evening worship; including Prayer & Praise, Cafe Church and Film Services as well as more traditional services. During the week we host a variety of activities - some aimed at nurturing faith, such as a number of house groups and Bible Studies, some at providing hospitality, support or learning opportunities for young and old alike (e.g. Roundabout Cafe, Friday Toddlers Group for the young and Wonford Welcome on Saturday mornings.)

Sunday 13th September 10am - this service (including communion) will be led by our new minister Rev Mmasape Thathane-Tyolweni followed by our usual teas and coffees. At 12 noon we will share a Bring & Share lunch together. All welcome.

Tuesday 15th September: 7.30 p.m. Circuit Welcome Service at Wonford for Rev Mmasape Thathane-Tyolweni.

Wonford Welcome Drop-In for Everyone

Saturdays 10.30am to 12.00pm.

In September we will be having the following activities for you to join, if you would like to, alongside a free cuppa & biscuits.

5th September - there will be a Summer Tea Party and fun quiz this morning
12th September - back by popular demand Mandy will be encouraging us to stretch & gently move in a chair exercise routine to help us keep supple.
19th September - we will be playing the Alphabet Game
26th September - there will be a games morning, which will include getting the pool table out, table football and magnetic darts etc.

Wonford Welcome is open to all; everyone, whatever their age, background or beliefs, will receive a warm welcome!

Wonford Welcome Drop-In for Everyone

Saturdays 10.30am to 12.00pm.

29th Aug - we are meeting over the summer but not organising any specific activities so we hope you’ll enjoy the time to relax in good company, have a chat over a cuppa and there will be various table top games available if you want them.
