The crescent moon has not been sighted in Saudi Arabia, and accordingly, Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Friday, 20th March 2026.

Exeter Mosque extends warm wishes to our community as we approach the end of this blessed month. We ask Allāh to allow us to make the most of these remaining moments in acts that please Him, and to accept our siyām, qiyām, and all our good deeds.

Eid Salah will be held at the following times:
8:30am
9:30am
10:30am

May He grant us the blessing of witnessing many more Ramadāns in good health. Āmīn.

Therefore, Ramadhān 1447 will begin tonight.

May Allāh ﷻ accept our siyām, qiyām & acts of worship, and may He grant us the ability to utilise the precious moments of this Blessed month to engage in that which pleases Him. Aameen

Janazah Announcement

We are deeply saddened to share that Shaheedul Hassan has returned to Allah ﷻ. Please remember him in your du‘as.

Shaheedul Hassan was one of the founding trustees of Exeter Mosque. He devoted his life to building and nurturing the Muslim community in Exeter, safeguarding the mosque, and ensuring it remained a place of worship and unity for all. His legacy of service and dedication will continue to benefit generations to come.

Burial:
The burial will take place, Insha’Allah, at Gardens of Peace, Romford (London) on Friday 24th October.
Final burial time will be confirmed once arranged.

May Allah forgive his sins, grant him ease in the grave, and bless him with Jannat al-Firdaus.
Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Guests welcomed by Imam Anas, as part of Exeter Mosque's Educational Series of lectures, on 10th May 2025, Abdullah Al Anjari delivers a talk on "The Roots of Israeli Settler Colonialism in Palestine". This was followed by a Q&A session.

Speaker: ABDULLAH AL ANJARI
Under the supervision of Ilan Pappé and Nadia Naser-Najjab, Abdullah is currently conducting his PhD research on the Palestinian resistance to the Judaization of East Jerusalem in the aftermath of the 1993 Oslo Accords. He is also a postgraduate teaching associate at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies, University of Exeter.
