Location: EX1 3EH. We are located on the east side of Exeter, north off the main Honiton road. Alternatively, if driving from the Middlemoor roundabout, going no

rth- Pinhoe direction, at the bottom of the dip in the road, turn left and the building is facing you. There is plenty of parking space on the main road (Lower Hill Barton Road). Nearest Bus stops: either Bramley Avenue stop (The 'A' bus) or Honiton Road (Route 56). The space itself: Access to the space is from the very back of the building requiring a short walk down the driveway. Here you can see a ramp there for disabled access into the main corridor and a sizeable outside green grassy space which has also been used as part of events in the past. The corridor inside leads to the toilets and a fire escape along the right side, and along the left side has 1) a door leading to stairs and the upstairs meeting space, 2) entry into the main hall space (with a baby gate installed), and beyond that 3) three or so steps down leading down the hallway to the kitchen on the right hand side. The main hall is where the majority of activities/events take place, beyond which there is a slidable and lockable 'curtain wall' leading to the worship space of the church. The main hall has been used regularly for a variety of activities featuring coffee mornings, film nights, youth groups and clubs, birthday parties, toddler groups, fun days, dance lessons and fitness classes and can host up to 84 people depending on the activity (seated for example as opposed to moving around). The upstairs meeting room is capable of hosting up to 16 people depending on the activity. Wifi- we should soon have wifi for users of the hall. Booking/Hiring of the hall - it is available most day times and much of the weekends (at time of writing- September 2022). Rates: £21 per hour (business rate) and £11.50 (charity rate). To book- please telephone 01392 677152 leaving a message including your telephone number.

We were blessed with three wonderful helpers at Mass this morning!

They helped prepare the altar, handed Fr Alex the elements, and helped him wash his hands before the Eucharistic Prayer.

“‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs”

Children will always be welcome in our worship, and our life as a Church.

URGENT HELP

St Lawrence’s heating system has, after decades of service, finally given up.

We do not have the money which is required to fix it, so are hoping that people who use the Church and the Hall will be able to help us, however big or small that help may be.

Please do share this poster around, and if you have any brainwaves for fundraising, please do let us know.
