Gospel Cross The Gospel Cross is a colourful design that you can use to communicate the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ to your friends, family and contacts.

the symbol of Gods Judgement of our sins, placed upon Jesus Christ; Gods rejection of him. The power of sin and it’s function as a barrier to an eternal relationship with God, in the form of our death, now broken and unable to isolate us from God and his love and blessings.

the colours from every national flag of the world; the reali

ty that Christ died for all peoples, of every tribe and nation.

5 coloured elements

the 5 habited continents of the world, whose people will all bow the knee (in fear or out of love) before Jesus Christ when he returns to Earth. Centre black square
the crown of thorns placed on Christ by mankind in their rejection of his authority to rule the whole world. Golden top of the cross
the Kingdom of Christ, representing the sovereignty over mankind that was given to Jesus by his father, God, when he returned to Heaven. Green base of the cross
creation; the earth; which will become free from it’s current environmental decay when Jesus returns to rule with believers who trust in him. Blue side of cross
Jesus, the living water, who has promised to satisfy the spiritual thirst of everyone who trusts in his sacrifice of his life for their sinfull nature, on the cross. Red side of cross
the blood of Jesus, signifying his life shed at the hands of men and God, to pay the penalty our sinful nature brought on us; to take our place so we could go free before the holy judgement and presence of God.

Mankind’s biggest problem is that their creator wants to live amongst them and be their God. But he’s too holy and their too evil in their hearts and want themselves to be their own God. To live amongst those he loves he had to take on their evil so that he could be just and not give his enemy a precedent to be pardoned. He judged their evil that he took away from them and gave them the opportunity for a pure heart so that he can in a future day live amongst a holy people and be their God once more. The opportunity is free to every living person who simply trusts that God in human form obeying his justice took the judgment of their evil hearts they deserved when he comes to live amongst his unholy people. The route for God to live amongst mankind and be their God was finished with the last words in a darkened world by his Son in whom he was well pleased. A route that requires no more payment than that already paid on this Good Friday.

Prayer for Peace

A prayer by theologian Reinhold Niebuhr composed during the Second World War.


We pray to you this day, O God, mindful of the sorry confusion of our world. Look with mercy upon this generation of your children so steeped in misery of their own contriving, so far strayed from your ways and so blinded by passions. We pray for wicked and cruel men, whose arrogance reveals to us what the sin of our own hearts is like when it has conceived and brought forth its final fruit. O God, who resists the proud and gives grace to the humble, bring down the mighty from their seats.

We pray for ourselves who live in peace and quietness, that we may not regard our good fortune as proof of our virtue, or rest content to have our ease at the price of other men’s sorrow and tribulation.

We pray for all who have some vision of your will, despite the confusions and betrayals of human sin, that they humbly and resolutely plan for and fashion the foundations of a just peace between men, even while they seek to preserve what is fair and just among us against the threat of malignant power.

Grant us grace to see what we can do, but also to know what are the limits of our powers, so that courage may feed on trust in you, who are able to rule and overrule the angry passions of men and make the wrath of men to praise you. Amen
