the symbol of Gods Judgement of our sins, placed upon Jesus Christ; Gods rejection of him. The power of sin and it’s function as a barrier to an eternal relationship with God, in the form of our death, now broken and unable to isolate us from God and his love and blessings.
5 Colours
the colours from every national flag of the world; the reali
ty that Christ died for all peoples, of every tribe and nation.
5 coloured elements
the 5 habited continents of the world, whose people will all bow the knee (in fear or out of love) before Jesus Christ when he returns to Earth. Centre black square
the crown of thorns placed on Christ by mankind in their rejection of his authority to rule the whole world. Golden top of the cross
the Kingdom of Christ, representing the sovereignty over mankind that was given to Jesus by his father, God, when he returned to Heaven. Green base of the cross
creation; the earth; which will become free from it’s current environmental decay when Jesus returns to rule with believers who trust in him. Blue side of cross
Jesus, the living water, who has promised to satisfy the spiritual thirst of everyone who trusts in his sacrifice of his life for their sinfull nature, on the cross. Red side of cross
the blood of Jesus, signifying his life shed at the hands of men and God, to pay the penalty our sinful nature brought on us; to take our place so we could go free before the holy judgement and presence of God.
