Sunday 31st May 2026.
Our Bible story this week was about 'Jesus and Blind Bartimaeus'.
We found out that, one day, Jesus and His disciples were leaving the city of Jericho. They had a large crowd following them. They passed a blind man called Bartimaeus, who was sitting and begging by the roadside. When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus was near, he shouted out, “Jesus, have mercy on me!” Many people in the crowd told him to stop shouting and be quiet, but Bartimaeus only shouted even louder!
Jesus stopped by Bartimaeus, and asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” Bartimaeus said, “I want to see.” Jesus replied, “Go, your faith has healed you.” Straightaway, Bartimaeus received his sight and followed Jesus along the road!
For our craft activity, we decorated pairs of glasses as shown in the photo, and modelled by Mandy!

May Messy Church.
Thursday 28th May 2026.
Thank you to everyone that came to May Messy Church this week. Our crafts and activities were based on the Bible story about 'Jesus and Mary and Martha', when Jesus travelled to the village of Bethany to visit his friends, Mary and Martha. Martha worked hard to prepare a meal for Jesus. But her sister, Mary, just sat and listened to Jesus. Martha was not pleased about this at all! But Jesus told Martha that the most important thing of all was to spend time with Him! Jesus is the Best Friend that we can have!
Here are some photos of the crafts and activities that we did. The Bible doesn't actually tell us exactly what food Martha was preparing for Jesus, but we thought that maybe it was donuts and pizza, as you will see from the craft pictures!

Sunday 17th May 2026.
Primary Sunday School Anniversary Presentation.
'People Jesus met'.
Thank you to everyone who came to PRBC yesterday morning to support the children as they performed their 2026 Anniversary Presentation about 'People Jesus met'. There were three scenes, and each one was about people that Jesus met:
1. Jesus and Zacchaeus!
2. Jesus and Mary and Martha!
3. Jesus and the Boy who gave his lunch!
The children performed their parts, sang the songs and joined in with the actions, wonderfully well and with great enthusiasm, and we would like to thank each and every one of them for their hard work.
Here are a few photos of things from the Presentation!

Sunday 26th April 2026.
This week, our Bible story was about 'Jesus and the Boy who gave his Lunch'. In the story, a boy gave his lunch to Jesus. There were only five small loaves of bread and two small fish in the boy’s lunch, but Jesus fed 5000 people with it! It was a miracle!
For our craft activity we made five loaves and two fish out of Play-Doh!

Sunday 19th April 2026.
Our Bible story this week was about 'Jesus, Mary and Martha'. We learnt that Jesus travelled to the village of Bethany to visit his friends, Mary and Martha. Martha worked hard to prepare a meal for Jesus. But her sister, Mary, just sat and listened to Jesus. Martha was not pleased about this at all! But Jesus told Martha that the most important thing of all was to spend time with Him!
For our craft activity, we made this laminated table placemat with the words 'Spend time with Jesus' on it. We drew our favourite meal on the plate before laminating it!
