1st Ellon Boys' Brigade Welcome to the page for the 1st Ellon Boys Brigade Company.

For 125 years, the 1st Ellon Boys Brigade has partnered with the church to work with children and young people to support and development the personal Christian faith. We are supported by our fantastic volunteers who come to share their skills, passion and faith.The Boys Brigade engages with children and young people in the Ellon community, providing opportunities to meet together and engage in a

variety of fun and developmental activities. We believe that empowering children and young people is important and do this by involving them in decision making at all levels of the BB's and giving responsibility appropriate to their age and aptitude.

1st Ellon Boys’ Brigade would once again like to thank all parents, friends, young people and family members who gave up their time this weekend to support our Annual Christmas Card Collection and Delivery Service and Coffee Morning.

This Year’s Coffee Morning was a roaring success! Thanks to our great team of helpers led by Catriona Pain, who kept everyone caffeinated and well fed!

A great deal of work goes on behind the scenes to make sure that the weekend is entertaining and enjoyable for all who visit. We are extremely grateful to those who spend their weekend providing an excellent service to the community with their knowledge of the local area.

Thousands and thousands of cards pass through the doors at the Kirk Centre and our volunteers try their best to find the right home for them!

The service wouldn’t exist without the kind donations of the wider community. These donations allow us to maintain our minibus and subsidise a lot of the activities we do in the BB within the local community.

We also express our warmest thanks to Ellon Parish Church for generously hosting the coffee morning and granting us the use of the Kirk Centre all weekend!

All cards should arrive at their destination in the next day or two. (Overseas deliveries are outwith our control! 😁)

We are back with our Christmas Card delivery service and Christmas Coffee Morning! We can deliver your Ellon town Christmas cards! Just drop them off with a donation at the Kirk Centre at the times on the poster. Our coffee morning will have all the usual festive cheer and carol singing from our Anchor & Junior Sections. Great turnout and display from the Junior and Company Sections today at the Remembrance Parade.

Special mention to Laggan and Matthew for carrying Colours and laying a wreath, respectively.

Also well done to Jack, who in his capacity as Head Prefect at Ellon Academy delivered a reading in Church.

The Boys did us proud and represented 1st Ellon Boys' Brigade well.
