Most of us quietly wonder whether what we do with our days actually matters.

The job, the relationships, the effort we put in when nobody's watching β€” does any of it add up to something? Or does it all just disappear?

This Sunday we're exploring that question as part of Hope Explored, and the answer is more hopeful than you might expect. It's the final session of the course, but it stands completely on its own β€” no prior knowledge needed, and new faces are genuinely very welcome.

What would make a life well lived?

Most of us have an answer to that β€” even if we've never quite put it into words. Is it something you've built? Someone you've loved? A difference you've made? Something that will still be standing when you're gone?

This Sunday we're exploring the question of Purpose as part of Hope Explored β€” and it's a good one to sit with before you arrive. Whether you've joined us for a previous session or this would be your first time, you'd be very welcome.

"What's the best future you could ever imagine?"

Kindness. No sickness. No pain. People actually caring for each other.

Listen to people's answers and you start to notice something: we all carry this deep longing for a world that's better than the one we've got. A world without suffering. A world that actually means something.

But what if that future isn't just a dream? What if there's real reason to hope for it?

This Sunday we're exploring that question in our third and final session of Hope Explored β€” looking at purpose, death, and what Jesus' resurrection might mean for the future we all long for.

πŸ“… Sunday 24th May Β· 4pm
πŸ“ Black Lion Hotel, Ellesmere SY12 0EG

All three sessions are standalone β€” you're welcome even if you haven't been before. Free to attend.

It's Monday. The week stretches out ahead β€” emails to answer, jobs to finish, things to get through.

Most of us are pretty good at keeping busy. What's harder to answer is a quieter question that tends to surface in the in-between moments: What am I actually doing all of this for?

Purpose is something we all need. Not just goals or a packed diary β€” but a genuine sense that what we do with our days actually means something.

This Sunday we're exploring exactly that, as part of Hope Explored β€” a three-part series looking at the life of Jesus and the difference it makes to the way we live now. It's the final session of the course, but it stands completely on its own. Whether you've joined us before or this would be your first time, you'd be very welcome.

We book the holiday. We put the phone down. We find the quiet corner of the coffee shop. And for a moment, it helps.

But most of us know the feeling of getting the quiet we wanted, and still not feeling at peace. The noise was external, but what was unsettled was somewhere deeper.

This Sunday we're exploring the topic of Peace as part of Hope Explored, a three-part journey looking at the life of Jesus and how his story can meet our deepest needs.

Whether you joined us last week or this is your first time hearing about it, you're warmly welcome. No prior knowledge needed, no strings attached.

Think about the last time you genuinely felt at peace. How long did it last?

Maybe it was a holiday, a rare quiet morning, a moment where everything just felt settled. And then, slowly or suddenly, it was gone β€” and you were back to chasing it again.

We all want peace. Most of us just can't seem to hold onto it. This Sunday we're exploring why that is, and whether there's a kind of peace that doesn't depend on circumstances staying just right.

It's the second session of Hope Explored β€” a three-part series looking at the life of Jesus and how his story can meet our deepest needs. Whether you were with us last week or you're joining for the first time, you're very welcome.
