Serving in Diocese of Aberdeen Eight centuries ago St.

Dominic de Guzman, inspired by the Holy Spirit in response to the needs of his time, founded an Order with the mission of preaching for the salvation of souls. Dominic’s love for God and neighbor continues to inspire the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation today, as they joyfully embrace the Church’s call to the New Evangelization. Through their teaching apostolate, the Sisters serve over over 15,000 students in nearly 50 schools in the United States, Canada, Australia, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands.
