Thank you to all who came and supported this wonderful service (including bringing your delicious baking), and to those of you who were there in spirit and prayer. Thank you for all your love, good wishes and support.

As we continue in our journey, we give thanks for two new Canons who were installed to the Inverness Cathedral, dedicated to St. Andrew Chapter on Sunday 23rd March.
One of the tasks of the Chapter is to bring the life of the Diocese to the attention of the Cathedral and the life of the Cathedral to the Diocese.

We pray for Revd Canon Simon Scott and the Revd Canon Tomb Rongong, their families and their congregations.

O Lord, of thy mercy stretch forth the right hand of thy Majesty over thy servants Simon & Tembu, that they may seek thee with their whole hearts, and that those things which they ask faithfully they may obtain effectually; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If you’re near Elgin this Saturday then there’s a super concert for you at 7.30pm in Holy Trinity Church, Trinity Place.

It has been my absolute pleasure to direct the Lantern Singers for this summer concert.
The first half is shorter, with a range of beautiful unaccompanied pieces by Gjeilo, Pärt and Stanford, finishing with a new piece by the choir’s own Anna McClure.
Refreshments at the interval, then the second half is the Mozart Requiem.
Tickets £10 on the door, and include refreshments. Children free.
Great to see you there!

Greatly looking forward to this afternoon at 4pm when Bishop Mark will install me as Rector of Holy Trinity, Elgin and St Margaret's, Lossiemouth. That's five years we've been here already, with me as Priest-in-Charge. What a wonderful place to live and minister in. Delighted that Holy Trinity choir will be joined by the Lantern Singers for our anthem for Trinity Sunday - 'I saw the Lord' by John Stainer - a tremendous sing.
As we celebrate the ministry in Elgin and Lossiemouth, we are also celebrating and giving thanks for the twenty years of service as a Priest the Rev'd Jenny Sclater has given to us. Thank you Jenny!
