A District Testimony Service will take place on Sunday 7th June at 4pm at Stricklandgate Methodist Church.

The service is for Rev Michaela Barker and Deacon Samm Morris, who have been recommended for ordination.

Today's service, Sunday 31st May, is made up of contributions from the congregation. We are looking forward to something different. It starts at 11am and all are welcome to join us.

Saturday coffee morning will be open today between 10am and 12noon. Tea, coffee and toasted teacakes all available for a donation. We would love to see you there.

Two more photos of the anniversary celebrations: the cakes, as part of a wonderful tea, and bunting decorated by Calderwood House and Girl Guides (the Scouts also did one, posted in the last set of pictures).
Huge thanks to everyone involved in the preparations, those who donated items for the displays, those who prepared the wonderful food (on both days!) and those who attended the services.

We have two services tomorrow (17th May) to celebrate 150 years of the church. Both are led by Rev Richard Teal. The first is at 11am and the second at 4pm. Phoenix Praise band will be playing at the second service which will be followed by a tea. All are welcome to come and join us.
