RHUL Hindu Society

RHUL Hindu Society Namaste. Welcome to the official page of the RHUL Hindu Soc. Our aim is preserve, practice, protect and uplift Hindu dharma. ΰ₯ So go on what are you waiting for?

Welcome to the official page of Royal Holloway University of London's Hindu Society, now affiliated with the National Hindu Students Forum (NHSF), the largest Hindu student organisation outside of India. We aim to preserve and practice Hindu Dharma and to unite all Hindus and Non-Hindu's alike. We hope to create a sociable platform for people to enjoy our events; such as, organising trips to garba

s, setting off fireworks for Diwali, attending Diwali balls, throwing colours to celebrate Holi and going to Thorpe park, as well as having movie nights and captivating and inspirational discussions and 'aartis'. We've also joined the NHSF meaning you'll get to meet, bond and interact with Hindu Students from over 48 different Universities. We'll have student garba's, Diwali balls, sports days and much more! This group was born out of the lack of community feeling on the very special occasion of Diwali, where some people may feel a bit lonely without the usual friends and family and good times. As a society we try to change that and be part of something together! It’s open to everyone and anyone, all faiths and cultures are welcome! Whether you're a soon-to-be fresher or a post-grad, it's never too early or too late to get involved! Get in touch and find out more about what we do! If you have any questions at all, anything, then feel free to contact any of our committee members and they'll be glad to help.
