JUNE 4 | FIRST THURSDAY OF THE MONTH

DEVOTION TO ST. JUDE THADDEUS

As we begin this First Thursday of June, the Church invites us to turn our hearts toward St. Jude Thaddeus, one of the most beloved apostles of Jesus Christ and the patron saint of impossible causes and desperate situations. Throughout the centuries, countless faithful have sought his intercession during times of great difficulty, finding comfort, hope, and strength through his powerful prayers before God.

Life often presents us with challenges that seem beyond our ability to overcome. We may carry the burdens of illness, financial struggles, family concerns, broken relationships, unanswered prayers, or uncertainty about the future. There are moments when discouragement creeps into our hearts and we wonder if our prayers are being heard. Yet the devotion to St. Jude reminds us that no situation is beyond God's power and that His grace continues to work even when we cannot see it.

St. Jude was one of the Twelve Apostles chosen by Jesus and remained faithful to Him throughout his life. His example teaches us perseverance, courage, and unwavering trust in the Lord. Though he faced trials, hardships, and persecution, he never abandoned his mission of proclaiming the Gospel. Through his witness, we learn that true faith means trusting God even when the path ahead seems uncertain.

Many devotees throughout the world testify to receiving extraordinary blessings through the intercession of St. Jude. While God's answers may not always come in the way or timing we expect, He never abandons those who place their trust in Him. Through St. Jude's prayers, countless people have found peace in suffering, strength in weakness, and hope in moments of despair.

This First Thursday also calls us to deepen our love for Jesus Christ, especially in the Holy Eucharist. As we spend time in prayer before the Lord, may we open our hearts to His presence and allow Him to renew our faith. Just as St. Jude dedicated his life to serving Christ, may we also become faithful disciples who share God's love through our words, actions, and daily witness.

Today, let us entrust all our intentions to the Lord through the intercession of St. Jude Thaddeus. Let us pray for those facing impossible situations, for the sick and suffering, for families experiencing difficulties, for those searching for employment, for those burdened by anxiety, and for everyone waiting for God's guidance in their lives. May St. Jude obtain for us the grace to remain faithful and hopeful in every circumstance.

No matter how difficult the journey may seem, never lose hope. God is still at work in your life. His mercy is greater than every fear, His love is stronger than every trial, and His plans are always greater than our own. Trust in Him, persevere in prayer, and remember that with God, nothing is impossible.

St. Jude Thaddeus, patron saint of impossible causes, pray for us.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we trust in You. ❤️

JUNE 3, 2026 IS FIRST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH

A Devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help

Today, on the First Wednesday of June, the Church invites us to honor and seek the loving intercession of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Under this beautiful title, the Blessed Virgin Mary reminds us that she is always near her children, offering comfort, guidance, and maternal care. In every circumstance of life—whether we are experiencing joy, sorrow, success, uncertainty, or suffering—we can confidently turn to her, knowing that she never ceases to lead us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

The beloved icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help has inspired generations of faithful Catholics throughout the world. In this sacred image, Mary holds the Child Jesus close while pointing us toward Him, reminding us that true hope, peace, and salvation are found in Christ alone. Countless devotees have experienced strength, consolation, and renewed faith through her powerful intercession, especially during moments of hardship, illness, fear, and personal struggles.

As we continue our journey through June, the month dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Mary gently encourages us to deepen our prayer life and place our trust completely in God. She teaches us that faith does not remove every trial instantly, but it gives us the courage and grace to carry our crosses with patience, perseverance, and hope. Through her example of humility and obedience, we learn to surrender our lives more fully to God's loving plan.

On this First Wednesday devotion, let us bring all our intentions before Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Let us pray for our families, our vocations, our health, our future, and all those who are in need of God's mercy. Let us also entrust to her the hidden concerns and silent burdens that only God knows. May she wrap us in her mantle of protection, strengthen us during difficult times, and help us remain faithful to Christ in every season of life.

May Our Mother of Perpetual Help accompany us throughout this month of June and continually remind us that hope is never lost when we place our trust in Jesus. Through her loving intercession, may our hearts be filled with peace, our faith be renewed, and our lives be drawn ever closer to the Sacred Heart of her Son.

THIS IS HOW TO KEEP THE DEVIL AWAY, ACCORDING TO ST. JOHN BOSCO

“If you do these things, the devil will never prevail against you.”

St. John Bosco was one of the great saints of the Church, known for his deep love for God, his devotion to the Holy Eucharist, and his tireless work among young people. Throughout his life, he experienced extraordinary spiritual visions and received many graces that strengthened his faith and guided his mission. Rather than keeping these gifts to himself, he used them to teach, encourage, and protect the countless boys entrusted to his care.

One of the themes St. John Bosco frequently spoke about was the reality of spiritual warfare. He understood that every Christian faces temptations, struggles, and attacks from the enemy. Yet he also knew that God provides powerful means of protection and victory. Instead of focusing on fear, Bosco directed souls toward Jesus, teaching that true strength comes from remaining close to the Lord.

According to St. John Bosco, there are two spiritual practices that are especially powerful against the devil: receiving Holy Communion with fervor and making frequent visits to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. He believed that whenever we draw near to Christ in the Eucharist, we receive grace, strength, peace, and protection. The closer we remain to Jesus, the less power the enemy has over our lives.

The saint explained that those who frequently visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament receive abundant blessings and spiritual help. Eucharistic devotion deepens our relationship with Christ, strengthens our faith, and fills our hearts with His love. Just as a branch remains alive by staying connected to the vine, our souls remain spiritually strong when we stay close to Jesus.

St. John Bosco also warned that neglecting Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament leaves us spiritually vulnerable. When prayer becomes rare and visits to the Lord become infrequent, temptations often become stronger and our resistance weaker. For this reason, he urged Christians to make Eucharistic devotion a regular part of their lives.

His message remains just as relevant today as it was during his lifetime. In a world filled with distractions, anxieties, temptations, and uncertainty, the Blessed Sacrament remains a place of refuge, healing, and grace. Jesus waits for us in every tabernacle, inviting us to spend time in His presence and entrust our lives completely to Him.

May the wisdom of St. John Bosco inspire us to love the Holy Eucharist more deeply, receive Holy Communion worthily and fervently, and make frequent visits to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. By remaining close to Christ, we find the strength to overcome temptation, persevere in faith, and grow in holiness each day.

St. John Bosco, pray for us.
Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, have mercy on us. 🙏🤍

JUNE 2 | FIRST TUESDAY OF JUNE
DEVOTION TO ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA

As we welcome the First Tuesday of June, we turn our hearts to St. Anthony of Padua, the beloved Wonder Worker and powerful intercessor. His life reminds us to seek God with humility, trust, and sincere faith.

St. Anthony teaches us that devotion is not only about finding lost things, but about returning to Christ when our hearts feel lost, tired, or far from God. Through prayer, charity, and trust, we allow God to guide us back to peace.

Since June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, this day becomes a beautiful reminder to place Christ at the center of our lives. Like St. Anthony, may our hearts be transformed by God’s love.

St. Anthony of Padua, pray for us!

JUNE IS FAST APPROACHING: THE MONTH OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS ❤️

As the beautiful month of May gradually draws to a close, the Church prepares to enter the month of June—a month traditionally and lovingly dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. For generations, Catholics throughout the world have honored the Sacred Heart as a powerful symbol of Christ’s infinite love, mercy, compassion, and sacrifice for all humanity.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus reminds us that God’s love is not distant or impersonal. It is a love that knows our struggles, understands our wounds, and remains faithful even when we fail. His Heart was pierced on the Cross, yet it continues to pour out grace upon the world. It is a Heart wounded by sin, yet overflowing with mercy; rejected by many, yet always open to receive every repentant soul.

In a world often filled with fear, division, disappointment, and uncertainty, the Sacred Heart remains a refuge of peace and hope. It invites us to lay down our burdens, surrender our worries, and trust in the One who loves us beyond measure. No pain is too great, no failure too serious, and no soul too far away to be embraced by the loving Heart of Jesus.

June is fast approaching. Perhaps this is a gentle invitation from God to renew your relationship with Him. A call to return to prayer with greater sincerity, to place your trust in Him once again, to forgive those who have hurt you, and to love with a more generous and Christ-like heart. The Sacred Heart continually calls us back to a life of faith, hope, and charity.

No matter what burdens you carry, there is always room for you in the Heart of Jesus. He welcomes the weary, comforts the sorrowful, strengthens the weak, and offers rest to those who are overwhelmed by life's struggles. His Heart remains open day and night, waiting for us to draw near with confidence and trust.

As we prepare to enter this special month, may our devotion to the Sacred Heart grow stronger. May we spend more time in prayer, participate more faithfully in the Holy Mass, receive the Sacraments with greater devotion, and entrust every aspect of our lives to His loving care. May June become a month of spiritual renewal, deeper faith, and abundant blessings for our families and communities.

Let us never forget that we are loved by God—not because we are perfect, but because His mercy is endless and His love knows no limits. The Sacred Heart of Jesus continues to beat with love for every soul and desires nothing more than to draw us closer to Him.

“Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.”

HEADS UP!

June 12 — Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus
June 13 — Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus honors the burning love, mercy, and compassion of Christ for all humanity. His Sacred Heart reminds us of a love that suffered on the Cross, was pierced for our salvation, and continues to forgive, heal, and welcome sinners back to God.

The Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of Mary celebrates the pure and faithful heart of the Blessed Mother, completely united with the mission of her Son. Her heart was free from sin, open to God’s will, and filled with both sorrow and hope as she stood beside Jesus in His suffering.

Together, these two holy feasts reveal one beautiful mission of love. The Sacred Heart of Jesus is the source of divine mercy, while the Immaculate Heart of Mary is the perfect response to that love. Through these two hearts, the faithful are invited to deeper conversion, prayer, trust, holiness, and love for God.

HAVE A BLESSED HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY

Today, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, one of the greatest mysteries of our faith. We believe in one God in Three Divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Though distinct, they are perfectly united in nature, power, and love.

The Father created us, the Son redeemed us, and the Holy Spirit continues to guide and sanctify us. The Holy Trinity reminds us that God is not distant, but constantly present and active in our lives.

This sacred mystery also teaches us the beauty of unity, love, and self-giving. Just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist in perfect communion, we too are called to live with love, forgiveness, and harmony in our families, communities, and the Church.

Every time we make the Sign of the Cross, we proclaim that we belong to the Triune God. Though the mystery of the Trinity is beyond full human understanding, it invites us not merely to explain God, but to enter into a deeper relationship with Him.

May this Holy Trinity Sunday renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and deepen our love for the God who created us, redeemed us, and remains with us always.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
