JUNE 19 — FRIDAY DEVOTION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

The Church traditionally dedicates every Friday to the remembrance of Christ's Passion and His boundless love revealed through the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Loving God, thank You for the privilege of a restful night. I ask that You wash away the stresses of the day and wrap me in Your gentle embrace. Let my thoughts be calm, my dreams be sweet, and my sleep be deep, that I may rise with a joyful heart in the morning.

In Jesus' name. Amen.

TRIDUUM OF HEARTS 2026

June 12 – Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

The Heart of Jesus is the fountain of divine mercy, sacrificial love, and redemption. Pierced on the Cross for our salvation, His Sacred Heart remains forever open to welcome every sinner, comfort every wounded soul, and strengthen all who seek Him. It reminds us that God's love is not distant or temporary but eternal, personal, and unfailing. In the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we find forgiveness, healing, peace, and the assurance that we are deeply loved by our Creator.

June 13 – Immaculate Heart of Mary

The Heart of Mary is a perfect model of purity, humility, and complete trust in God. From the Annunciation to Calvary, Mary remained faithful to the Lord's will, even when she did not fully understand His plans. Through her Immaculate Heart, we learn how to say "yes" to God, how to persevere in faith during trials, and how to entrust every aspect of our lives to His loving care. June 17 – Most Chaste Heart of Saint Joseph

As the guardian of Jesus and Mary, Joseph faithfully fulfilled the mission entrusted to him by God. FEAST OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY

June 12 is a remarkable day for the Filipino people because it unites two meaningful celebrations: the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Philippine Independence Day (Araw ng Kalayaan). Both occasions remind us of the profound value of love, sacrifice, freedom, and faith.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus reveals the depth of Christ's love for humanity. His Heart, burning with mercy and compassion, continues to welcome sinners, heal the brokenhearted, and offer hope to those who seek Him. Through His suffering, death, and resurrection, Jesus showed that true love is selfless and unconditional.
