This Sunday, we were blessed and reminded through the life and testimonies of Bro. Ruffy Canda the importance of discipline in our walk with God.

Discipline and correction may not always be easy, but they are part of how God shapes us and draws us closer to His will. As Hebrews 12:11 reminds us, though discipline may be painful in the moment, it produces a peaceful harvest of righteousness in those who are trained by it.

Just as an athlete trains for a race, we are being trained for something far greater-eternity with Christ.

Keep training. Keep trusting. Keep walking with God.

No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.
