The Salvation Army - Edinburgh City Corps Edinburgh City Corps is the local Salvation Army on East Adam Street. We are a Christian church and community centre where everyone is always welcome!

The Salvation Army is a Christian church and charity organisation, known for seeking to serve others and put its faith into action. We hold a Sunday worship meeting (service) every week at 10.45am where you can expect to hear a bible based message, musical contributions from our brass band, senior choir and junior singing group, and participate in congregational singing. The children have their ow

n age appropriate teaching during the second half of the meeting. A prayer meeting takes place at 10am before the main meeting and refreshments always follow the meeting. Everyone is always welcome and we'd love to see you! Our midweek activities currently include:

Monday 10am-12pm (term time) LITTLE GEMS TODDLER GROUP

Wednesday 7pm - 9.15pm MUSICAL REHEARSALS

Thursday 10am-1pm EMPLOYMENT PLUS JOB CLUB (access to laptops, job hunting advice and tea/coffee)

Friday 12.30pm (fortnightly) LUNCH CLUB FOLLOWED BY CAMEO (Friendship group)

Our cafe will be closed next week 3rd-6th August. We will reopen Monday 10th August, 11am-5pm. During the Fringe we will be open Monday- Saturday. If you're in the area come along for a warm welcome, low price but good quality food and drinks. And find out about all our Fringe activities!

URGENT CALL TO PRAYER

Please join with our divisional family in praying for healing for Amy James (Hamilton Corps). Amy is known and loved across the division and she needs our prayers. Many of you may already know that Amy is experiencing critical health issues. Please pray for all those involved in Amy’s medical care as well as for her family and friends at this difficult time. Please pray especially for Amy, her husband, Mark, and their daughter, Isla (just over 4 weeks old). We bind our hearts together in love, in faith and in believing prayer!
