Some of the team will take part in our 10.30am morning service. sharing testimonies and a message, with tea and coffee after the service.

As we reach the longest day of the year, we continue with our weekly prayers from Calum Martin, Church Engagement Officer. S

Loving God
Light of our lights

By Your hand this world was formed
You kindled the Sun that brings each day
You poured out the seas that flow amongst the lands and islands

So too did You form each of us
Kindling in us the light that sustains us each day
You have poured out Your Spirit to flow amongst our cities and villages

Though today is the longest day
That will gently ebb into Summer
Your love never lessens, shines less brightly

Though tonight is the shortest night
That will begin to wrap longer into Autumn
Your call to creation is never shrouded, or dimmed

And as the sun, moon, and earth continue their journeys
Keeping seasons sweeping along, and days dancing on
You are always with us.
Like Hagar and Ishmael in the wilderness
Wherever we may be, by day or by night, in land or by sea.
You hear each of us. You know each of us. You hold open Your hand to each of us.

Light of our Lights
Be with us this day

As we go forth from Pentecost, we continue with our weekly prayers from Calum Martin, Church Engagement Officer.

Loving God
You, who are with us always,
How majestic is your name in all the earth!

You made a world with room for all, and declared that it was good
As you call us back to care for it properly, may your Spirit be with us.

You know and care for every name and voice, and breathed life into each heart
As you call us back to serve one another, may your Spirit be with us.

You have drawn us all together, and shared a commission to bring justice and love
As you call us back to build your kingdom here, may your Spirit be with us.

Loving God
You, who are with us always,
How majestic is your name
In all the earth, and in all our hearts

Each person in this world is loved and cherished by God. We seek to respond to that good news in prayer, in worship, and by serving in the life of our city.

All are welcome to join weekly services, Sundays at 10.30am!

We have a children’s Sunday Club and crèche during the service, and tea and coffee afterwards.
