The Boys’ Brigade is a Christian Youth Organisation with over half a million members world wide. The objective of the BB is “The advancement of Christ’s kingdom among boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reve

It was good seeing the boys back after the February holidays, and we thought a few of them had watched the Winter Olympics, so included colouring in sheets, which seemed to be a winner! 🏆 🎨

It was then a few rounds of games, while others were building Lego 🧱 For some it was building the tallest structure, others letting the imagination go wild 🙌

Thanks to all the boys in Company Section who joined us in East Lothian for this year's February camp. It was an easy 30min from Portobello on Friday evening, so we got there early and gave us plenty of time for various games offline and some console games.

After breakfast Saturday, the Seniors helped prepare the dough for our pizza dinner, it was then off to walk up the nearby (according to the boys not at all nearby!) Traprain Hill, which we managed to do with blue skies all morning. Saturday afternoon we went to Dunbar, a bit of browsing the local retail (café for the BB leaders) and then onto Dunbar swimming.

Finished off the afternoon with a few of the Seniors treating us to homemade cookies 🍪 and what a treat! It was then pizzas and games, before we had a film night.

Sunday morning was relatively relaxing, with only a short stroll after breakfast, then back for lunch and tidy up before it was already time to head back to Portobello.

There may be a few items left behind, and we will look at getting these to the boys when we return after the holidays.
