Good Friday - Jesus is crucified, dying for our sins, and enabling us to have peace with God.

Remember our Good Friday service this evening at 7pm at Bristo Baptist Church. A time to reflect, and to share in the bread and the cup.

Carrying His own cross, He went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). There they crucified Him, and with Him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle.
Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews. John 19:17-19.

Holy Week - Maundy Thursday.

Aware of what is up ahead, Jesus shared the last meal with His disciples, and washes their feet, expressing His servanthood to the last.

It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for Him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. John 13:1.

Holy Week - Wednesday - Judas agrees to betray Jesus for thirty pieces of silver.

Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver. From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.' Matthew 26:14-16.
