"We are absolutely delighted to share that John George Mackay was recently inducted as an elder here at Helmsdale Free Church of Scotland!
"It was a wonderful and encouraging service as we witnessed John George answer the call to leadership within our congregation. We are incredibly thankful for his willingness to serve, his heart for the gospel, and his commitment to our church family.

Many will have fond memories Isobel. She was one of the longest serving members of Knox Church Perth - almost 70 years.

Her funeral takes place on Friday 29th May at 12 noon at the church.

Organisers say: "Life gets busy so we wanted to make sure you didn't miss this. If you've been meaning to get your young person signed up now is the time to do it."

Today is the final day of the 2026 General Assembly.

This morning the Board of Ministry report will be given. Elaine Duncan from the Scottish Bible Society will be speaking about the work of the Society.
