Tonight, following on from this, we will be spending our weekly prayer time to continue the prayers of the preceding 24 hours. All welcome at 7pm on Zoom.

We dare to believe that Jesus is still Prince of Peace.

There is violent conflict across the globe, and the escalation of war in the Middle East adds fresh urgency to our prayers.

From 16-22 March we are committing to a week of prayer for peace. As we gather to stand in the gap for the nations, we’re asking you to join us – whether for a moment, an hour, or a watch in the night – as we seek God’s peace and mercy for the world.

Today, many people celebrate St Patricks day, mainly with wearing silly hats and drinking a certain Irish beverage. But who was St Patrick and what did he do for the people of Ireland?

Thousands of miles away from the Egyptian Desert, but at around the same time, St Patrick was also seeking God in solitude. Originally from Britain and traff...

It was great so many folk could go along to Lee's exhibition on Saturday. It will be open all this month (see details below) and there is a lift if you need one.

We are proud to support one of our "Tappers", Lee Gates, in this upcoming exhibition!

Journey through a family's history in 'Life in China 1966-67: a Family Journey' by Lee Gates. This unique exhibition opens on March 9th and runs through March 31st, 2026, at Morningside Library (EH10 4PU).

Viewing is available on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and Saturdays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Access is also available by request from Library Staff outside of these times.

Don't miss the chance to experience this personal perspective on a pivotal period.

The Polwarth Labyrinth Team invites you to the next event on Thursday 26th February.
As usual, this is a candlelit drop-in evening, from 7pm until 9pm.
The very topical and thought-provoking theme of ‘Living Gratefully’ will hopefully resonate and give cause for some reflection.

Pancakes today? What have you planned for tomorrow? Why not follow along with the new Lent series on Lectio 365. There is also an introductory short film to watch https://lectio365.com/desertresources/

NEW SERIES - 🔥Wisdom In The Desert.

Starting tomorrow, we are beginning a series that will run throughout Lent, following the lives of the Desert Mothers and Fathers. This series will challenge and inspire us to fix our eyes on Jesus, commit ourselves to following Him more closely, and explore what radical prayer and counter-cultural lives look like.

📲Open the Lectio 365 app and pray the Bible throughout Lent.

Lent starts on Wednesday. Why not try this? Please speak to Stewart Goudie if you want to know more about ACORN.
