2026 is a great year as we celebrate 125 years of our Church and 15 years of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre 👏

15 years ago today we opened the doors of the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre as a spiritual and community hub in the heart of Edinburgh’s West End.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey and to our parent Church: Edinburgh Spiritualists who celebrate 125 years this year 🙌

Here’s an amazing story. 125 years ago someone had a thought, and it drew others to it. One single thought became a thing. That thing is just as vibrant now!
Edinburgh Association of Spiritualists celebrates its 125th birthday this year. One thought aligned with the creative Source of All started a Spiritualist church in the heart of Edinburgh. Much has changed but the church has always had a dedicated core group of people working in the background to ensure it runs smoothly. So many people have carried this responsibility and been a part of a church that serves everyone who needs it.
The need is greater than ever. One thought has led to a church and from there a new thought appeared 15 years ago and the Arthur Conan Doyle Centre was born. It’s full of heart and light.
It’s amazing to recognise the invisible threads of light, interwoven with intent, purpose and love. Spiritualism is always evolving.
Our church is a bit like us. It’s changed, grown and produced off-shoots, always becoming more. Spirit fills this physical space in Edinburgh with the same light that emanates from the centre of us. Thank you to all those who have made Edinburgh Association of Spiritualists their priority, giving their time and energy. Thank you for the new thought that grew into the Arthur Conan Doyle Centre. Happy Birthday🎉
