Congratulations to Broughty Ferry Parish Church on their Eco-Congregation Scotland Silver Award!

Our award assessors praised the commitment and enthusiasm of the eco-congregation group and were particularly impressed with the way in which the group is integrated and supported within the church. The achievement demonstrates excellent practice in caring for creation across the congregation; in spiritual life, practical action and global awareness. 👏 💚

Sunday Week 4: With the congregation of St John the Evangelist, Aberdeen, who have more than HALVED their carbon footprint AND hope soon to install solar panels, and their priest Godwin Chimara. A banner in the church makes plain their aspiration to reach net zero in a couple of years, and at the back of the church, there's a display with statistics to make the point.
