At 10:30am, we’re looking at one of the Psalms in a group known as the 'Songs of Ascent'. The psalms are poems/songs written in the main by King David and they following the highs and lows, grief and joys of life. The songs of ascent are characterised by their themes of hope and joy looking towards God.
Junior Church runs during the service, and we share a cuppa afterwards.

At 5:30pm, we’re opening Matthew 10 and wrestling with a surprising theme: Jesus bringing division. It’s not how we usually picture him, but it’s a passage that helps us understand his mission more deeply.

You’re warmly invited to come and explore these truths with us.

What a weekend at Buccleuch!

On Saturday we loved welcoming our neighbours for Community Day; hog roast, games, sunshine (mostly), and so much friendship. A huge thank‑you to the team from South Carolina (USA) for hosting and serving with such joy. The photos say it all: a beautiful day of food, fun, and community.

On Sunday we began with a fond farewell to David, one of our deacons, as he heads to Singapore for theological studies. David has blessed us richly through his faithful service on the media desk, with our students, and in his role as deacon. We send him off with love and prayers.

During the service we welcomed five new members, three by profession of faith - what a joy!

After the service we celebrated James and Vickie’s 10 years with us — a decade of prayerful leadership, care, and steady guidance through many seasons of change. We had a video with messages from many of the students who have worshipped with us from all around the globe and gave them small tokens of our appreciation. There was cake for the congregation with our coffee, followed by leftovers from Saturday’s hog roast… please don’t tell our mums we had pudding before mains.

A full, happy, grateful weekend.
