We have just finished our 33rd Next Wave (which doesn't include 5 Glory in the Cowsheds!). The theme, loosely, was 'Beginning' – not in the sense of another New Thing but rather in the continuous, creative unfolding of life in union with the Trinity, in the I AM. The BE in Beginning!

A friend who travelled up from England sent this beautiful message on the journey home: '[it was] such a tender and sacred space this weekend. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into deep waters — an immersion into beauty, mystery and tender depths, with sea treasure everywhere 🌊🐚✨

What was opened over the weekend feels far from finished, and for us, will keep rippling and unfolding as we travel home, and in the days and maybe even weeks to come. So much Wonder, so much gentle detangling, comfort in grief and such precious Beginning… not a rushed ‘new beginning’, but that deeper seed-beginning — something being planted, softened, opened and set in motion 🌱

The meditative, contemplative and creative spaces were like beautiful invitations to go even deeper — making more room for encounter, reflection, and the tender mystery of God’s presence.

There is something so beautiful too about being in a space with people who speak the same creative and spiritual language — where listening, movement, prayer, beauty and deep encounter are simply part of the shared life and there’s a deep ease and joy in that.'
