Everyone coming here broken. We are getting to be fixed. Here, we want to be fixed. We come here broken, and it is necessary. Why is it necessary? Because to understand what this world is, this world doesn't fix. It breaks. What fixes? Allah and His Prophet. Not this world.

If you are trying to go into this world to ask this world to fix you, you are going to fail. It’s going to break you even more. But if you are coming here asking to be fixed now, Allah will turn your sins, He will forgive your sins, He will turn your sins to become good deeds and He will reward you. You know, just like Japanese they have that art form, they have nice bowl, if the bowl break they don’t throw to garbage like Americans, they take the bowls and they use silver and they use gold to put it back together again. It’s an art form. They put the bowl, instead of putting gorilla glue, they put gold, they put silver and they put it back together again so it becomes more beautiful, and everyone understands it’s broken. But it becomes more beautiful and you start to look, you start to think.

Our hearts, we need to break it. Break it more, maybe Allah will fix it. Break it more, Allah will fix it. Before you know it, the whole thing turns to gold. Because we are not the one fixing it. Allah is the one who is fixing it. But if you are broken and you are not going to Allah, you are going to your ego, you are going to your history, you are going to understanding, you are going to your culture, you are going to this world, then they will put gorilla glue. It looks as if it’s not broken. But one knock, everything will fall again.

You are going to be with the one that you love. Be careful of what you love, be careful who you love. We are weak, we are in need of intercession, we are in need of safety, but don't love the wrong thing. Don’t love the wrong people. At least fall in love with the right ones.

The Holy Ottomans got this secret a long time ago. Even the earlier dynasties they don't have this. Some were hunting down the grandchildren of the Prophet (AS), and some they have fallen in love with the dunya, dunya has given them such advancement, but they have lost touch with the Ahli Sufi. But the Ottomans they ran, they ran to serve those who loved the Prophet (AS). They ran to serve the Ahlul Bayt. The Prophet loves them. If the Prophet loves, is Allah not going to love? And those who love them, although they are in wrong positions, Allah loves them too. They became a tree for shelter. A tree may shelter people, it may shelter animals, but trees may shelter snakes and scorpions too. It becomes a mercy. And they understood, the Ottomans, that everything that is different also has the secret of Allah to make everything to turn. They don’t try to make everyone and everything the same. They let all the trees in the forest to grow. In their schools they say, ‘no fish is going to fly and no bird is going to swim.’ And we are here still with this faith because of their wisdom. And our Sheykh is from that lineage.

So look around you, what is drawing us eleven years after he has passed? Look around you and you will see that people don't even understand from their own language to speak to each other here. There is nothing here for us to give you worldly, we’re not here also to tell you you’re going to reach to high maqams and Jannatul Firdaus. But our Sheykh is teaching us how to love those ones who love Allah. How to love Haqq, and how to hate Batil. Even just in our heart. To be careful who we love, and what we love. This is enough, because that is inside everyone’s heart.

We are thanking Allah for him, we are thanking the Prophet. We are thanking him, but our thanks mean nothing, mine anyway. Because every day I’m asking myself that question, what have you done for your Sheykh today? We know how to say, what have you done for Allah today, which I don’t see in every house also. But I’m asking myself and I’m asking those who are following us, what are we doing today for the sake of our Sheykh? That time we can make Allah to be more happy with us.

This is our life, inshaAllah, we wish to live like this. To love the ones that Allah loves. We wish to die like this, and we wish to be raised like this, inshaAllah. By ourselves, the dirtiness that we have done, we cannot hope to clean ourselves. But because Allah loves them, Allah answers their prayer, it is so easy for them to pray for us. So check your love inshaAllah, help each other, don’t fight. The whole world needs the Ottomans, with or without us. Allah is promising they’re going to come back, with or without us. The zulm will fall, may we rise with truth inshaAllah. For the sake of the Holy Prophet (AS), for the sake of our Sheykh, al fatiha.

Our Sheykh says, 'Come, leave your will, come to that circle, come to that turn, we will take you.' You have to submit. You have to let go. That is very difficult to do for the ego, but that is Allah's destiny and plan for every man that Allah has created, because the invitation is given to everyone, regardless. That invitation and what is that invitation called? Islam. Submission.
