Much has happened in Grace Baptist Edinburgh that we praise God for:
1. On 28th June 2026, our brother Isaac was recognised by the laying of hands from the elders to be part of the diaconate to serve as a Deacon. We praise God for how He has matured our brother to live out the characteristics outlined in 1 Timothy 3:8-13. Please continue to pray for him as he begins to serve.
2. Between 21st-23rd July 2026, the church travelled down to Northamptonshire to attend the annual Grace Baptist Partnership Conference. This year’s conference theme was Titus for Today: Zealous for Good Works. Scotland was well-represented with Pastor Gevi Margate and Elder Kev Wong both preaching, along with Pastors and Preachers Brian Croft, Jeff Noblitt, and Barry King. God was moving in our hearts to be a church that God intended: a multi-generational disciple-making church that remains faithful to God when times become tough and uncertain. We praise the Lord for the faithful preaching of His Word and the blessed fellowship we had with other churches.
3. On 26th July 2026, Pastor Jeff Noblitt (Grace Life Church of the Shoals) and his family generously gave their time to fellowship with us. We thank God for Pastor Jeff in bringing God’s Word to us as well, and we pray that the Lord will continue to bless His time in the UK and for a safe journey back home.
