Ever felt completely burned out, even after doing the right thing? You’re in good company.
In this week’s sermon, Sarah looked at the life of Elijah. Right after his massive victory on Mount Carmel, he found himself exhausted, afraid, and running for his life in despair. But God didn't lecture or scold him—He met Elijah with rest, food, and gentle care.
When Elijah went looking for God, he didn't find Him in the dramatic storm or the earthquake. He met God in the "sheer sound of silence."
When life feels noisy, distracting, and overwhelming, God invites us to step away from the chaotic instructions of the world, quiet our hearts, and listen for His gentle voice.
