Worship is more than a song — it’s a life lived in the presence of God. 🙌

Today’s message reminded us that God doesn’t just want to give us answers; He wants to teach us His ways and give us the keys to continually come into His presence.

Thanksgiving. Contemplating. Encountering.

Because of Jesus, the veil has been torn. We don’t have to stand at a distance anymore — God says, “Come!”

In John 12, Mary showed us what true worship looks like. She poured out something incredibly precious upon Jesus. Others saw waste; Jesus saw something beautiful.

She didn’t count the cost. She broke the jar, poured it all out, and the fragrance filled the whole room. The perfume covered Mary too — she began to carry the same fragrance as Jesus.

That’s what happens when we live as worshippers. The more we give ourselves to Him, the more His life is seen through us.

You can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving.

A worshipper is someone who lives to be in the presence of God. ❤️

WORSHIP

What a wonderful meeting we had last night! 🙏❤️

Pastor David shared a powerful message on the power of worship and what it means to enter into that deep, intimate place with the Lord.

He spoke about three fundamental parts of worship:

✨ Thanksgiving — remembering what He has done.
✨ Contemplating — dwelling on who He is.
✨ Encountering — coming into His presence, growing in intimacy and becoming completely surrendered to Him.

In John 12, we see such a beautiful picture of surrendered worship.

Mary took expensive perfume, poured it over the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair.

In that moment, nothing else mattered.

She wasn’t concerned with who was watching. She wasn’t worried about what others might think of her. She laid aside dignity, pride and the opinions of those around her because Jesus was worthy of her worship.

Her worship was costly.
Her worship was intimate.
Her worship was surrendered. ❤️

What would it look like for us to worship Jesus with that same abandonment?

Will you surrender your time to worship Him?
Will you lay down your pride and submit yourself fully to Him?
Will you give Him something that costs you something?

How will you show your intimate worship to the Lord today?

May we become a people who don’t simply sing songs about Jesus, but who surrender our whole hearts before Him.

He is worthy. 🙌🔥
