St Andrew's Blenheim Road, Eastleigh is holding our Autumn Craft Fair on Saturday 17th October 10.30am to 2.30pm. Details of stalls to follow - maybe a chance to find some Christmas presents. Refreshments and craft zone for children. Hope to see you there.

Introducing Belong 💛 Starts Friday 11th September
🟡Belong is a new, welcoming Friday morning space at St Andrew's, Eastleigh for parents and carers of individuals with additional needs.
🟡Come along for a cuppa, meet other families who understand, have a chat or simply enjoy some time in a relaxed and friendly environment. There’s no expectation to join in or share — come as you are.
🟡Children are welcome too! We’ll have space to play and explore for under 5s, as well as school-age children who are currently out of school.

Are you interested in music, history, tales of sea - smuggling, battles, press gangs? Why not come along to The Madding Crowd concert at St Andrew's Blenheim Road, Eastleigh 19th September 7pm. There will be refreshments and a raffle. Tickets £10 on the door.

At our prayer and praise last night we read about Jesus walking on the water in Matthew 14.22-33 - and the wavering courage of Peter when he stepped out of the boat to go to Jesus. We pray that God will give us wisdom and courage to know when we are being called to new things - and to keep our eyes on Jesus.

Eastleigh Community Garden is such a wonderful space and it was great to meet the dedicated team this evening, help with the huge job of watering the garden - and to be gifted with a few home grown orange courgettes. Looking forward to seeing more of the garden and hoping that we get some much needed rain soon!

Every year the Methodist Prayer Handbook includes prayers for the UK and the world, both traditional and contemporary, and a daily reading guide. If you would like us to include you in our order for the 2026/2026 handbook, please let us know this week. They are £4.95 each or £4.50 with bulk discount. An excellent resource!

NEEDED - Bottles of water 💦

The Eastleigh Community Garden behind the church is struggling for water and we reached out to them on Facebook. They would love it if we could donate some bottles of water and leave them outside the garden or arrange for them to collect them. Could you find an empty bottle or two and bring some water on Sunday? They were pleased to be contacted and keen to link up. This is a great way to link with our local community and care for creation too!

Psalm 121. 1-2 reads, 'I lift up my eyes to the mountains - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.' When have you looked to God for help and known that God is with you?

Tomorrow, Sunday 12th July, there will be no service at St Andrews, as we join our friends from Churches Together at Leigh Road Rec for a Summer Celebration service together. If you are coming, please bring a chair, plenty of water, a hat and sun cream as it's going to be hot! If it is too hot for you, why not join our friends at Bishopstoke Methodist Church or Chandlers Ford Methodist Church instead :-)
