The second of two Sunday meetings lead for us by Captains Johnathan and Sarah Pitts today, thoroughly appreciated by everyone. Joining us also today were non corps members to take part in the service with the music group. We all wish blessings on Johnathan and Sarah as they prepare to take up their new appointment and thank them both for sharing the Lords word with us.

A wonderful meeting at Eastleigh today. Uplifting words from Captain Martin and the official enrolment of four new adherents into Gods’ family at Eastleigh.

Christmas Day at Eastleigh was wonderful. A carol service, every seat taken and also some standing, followed by tea, coffee and mince pies.
44 stayed for lunch plus volunteers. Some meals were also delivered. Games played after lunch, followed by tea coffee and Christmas cake or mince pie and everyone left with a ‘tea’ hamper for later.
Many thanks again to Margaret at the helm and for the wonderful team of corps folk and volunteers that help the day run smoothly.
“God bless us all everyone. “

A wonderful Carol Service was enjoyed by all yesterday, traditional carols, items performed by Home League members, our recently formed music group and the nativity scene portrayed by members of the luncheon club, together with two tambourine items and a pom pom piece, followed by audience participation with pom poms and a musical item - by popular demand- a true community event.
All beautifully tied together with thoughts and words from Margaret Moore on the true meaning of Christmas.
Very grateful thanks for all those who took part and also to the team doing the work that doesn’t get seen.
Blessings to you all.
