Last night we celebrated our Service of Light and the First Service of Easter 🐣

During the service we lit the new paschal candles from accross ours and West Sheppey Parish!

We are beyond sad to announce that our historic Royal Coat of Arms of King George III has been stolen.

This isn’t just an old picture. Its a survivor from 1760-1820 that has stood through wars, overlooked baptisms, marriages, funerals, celebrations, community life, and watched generations of people. Its part of our story, of everyone's story who has ever visited Bobbing Church. To lose it like this is devastating.

Another church went through this last year. Their community shared the post so widely that the items were recovered.

We're hoping for the same. Please share this and help us bring it home.

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Fr Colin Johnson. ❤️

Fr Colin was a former Honary Assistant Priest within the Parish. He was adored by the congregation, and was vital in keeping the Parish worshiping during our last Interregnum.

Fr Colin’s funeral will take place at St Peter & St Paul Borden on 11 November at 11:00am.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
