Café Church This Morning!
Christ’s resurrection was at the centre of our time together today. Taking our cue from the words spoken by both Jesus and the angels at the empty tomb — “Do not be afraid” — we explored the moments in life that unsettle us, and the things that bring us peace.
Our Bible reading from Matthew 28:1–10 came in the form of a lively news report, capturing all the drama and wonder of that first Easter morning. There was even a game of Jenga involved, which led to a mini earthquake when all the blocks fell!

We were delighted to welcome our friends from St. Barnabas to our service this morning.
The atmosphere was truly joyful as we shared in singing, reading, praying — and even a spot of gardening together as we considered the theme "Wake Up!" And of course, no gathering would be complete without a welcome cuppa enjoyed in good company.

This service is shaped and shared by members of the four East Team Churches especially for Holy Week.

Everyone is warmly welcomed to take part as we journey together through these powerful days of reflection and hope.

Singers are invited to join the united choir, bringing the story to life through music and song as we trace the events of Holy Week in a moving and creative way.

Voices of Joy from Willingdon!

The choir were in fine voice for our Christmas Gala on Saturday, filling the church with festive cheer! They offered a wonderfully varied programme — beginning with popular Christmas favourites before moving into more spiritual pieces that lifted hearts and spirits.

Interwoven throughout were thoughtful Christmas readings, beautifully delivered by our talented readers. A welcome cuppa at the interval gave everyone a chance to share smiles and chatter.

The afternoon reached a joyful finale with the *world premiere* of “The 12 Tragedies of Christmas” — complete with props!
It was a performance full of laughter, harmony, and Christmas magic.
