🩺 Your Health Matters – Free Community Health Check

Your health is one of the blessings Allah has entrusted to us, and taking care of it is an important part of looking after ourselves and our families.

We are pleased to invite all brothers to attend our Community Medical Check-Up at Eastbourne Mosque on:

📅 Saturday 20th June
🕜 1:30pm – 3:00pm
📍 Eastbourne Mosque

Our friendly Muslim doctors will be available to provide:

✅ Blood pressure checks
✅ General health assessments
✅ Explanation of your readings
✅ Answers to your health-related questions
✅ Practical advice on maintaining your health and wellbeing

Many health conditions can develop silently without obvious symptoms. A simple check-up can help identify potential concerns early and provide reassurance and guidance for a healthier future.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"Your body has a right over you." (Bukhari)

Whether you have concerns about your health or simply want peace of mind, we encourage all brothers to take advantage of this beneficial service.

All brothers are welcome. Please come along and encourage family and friends to attend.

Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to share some good news with our community.
Many of you may have noticed that the hallway leading to the toilet and wudu area had become worn over time and was in need of some care and maintenance.

On Sunday 14th June, a group of brothers from the community came together, generously giving both their time and their own funds to refresh and restore this area.
From the preparation and planning to the painting and finishing touches, many hours were spent working together with sincerity and a shared desire to look after the House of Allah. By the permission of Allah, the area now looks clean, fresh and welcoming for everyone who uses it.

This maintenance work was entirely funded by members of the local community, with brothers volunteering their time and contributing towards the costs purely for the sake of Allah. Their efforts are a beautiful reminder that caring for the masjid is a collective responsibility and that even small acts of service carry great reward.

While this was not a new building project, maintaining and honouring the Mosque is also part of showing respect for the places in which Allah is worshipped.

May Allah accept the efforts, time and generosity of everyone involved, place barakah in their wealth and families, and allow us all to continue serving His house with sincerity. Ameen.

Sister Susan Boyd from Hailsham has passed away.

Janaazah will be on Tuesday 02/06/2026 at 12:00 in Hailsham Cemetery in shaa Allah

The burial will then take place in *Hailsham Cemetery*.

May Allah forgive all her sins, have mercy on her and reward her family for their Sabr.

Please keep her and her family in your Duaas.

Eid Mubarak to the entire Muslim Ummah! 🌙✨

On this blessed occasion of Eid ul Adha, may Allah ﷻ accept our sacrifices, forgive our sins, and fill our hearts with taqwa, peace, and endless barakah. May He strengthen the unity of the Ummah, bless our families with happiness, and shower His mercy upon those facing hardship around the world.

As we remember the beautiful obedience and sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), may we also renew our faith, sincerity, and devotion to Allah.

May Allah reward all those who fasted on the blessed Day of Arafah, accept their Ibadah erase their sins, and grant them immense mercy and forgiveness in this dunya and the akhirah.
