Hi everyone 💛

With so much difficult news around at the moment, it can feel quite heavy—but we also know there is still so much good to celebrate in our community too.

This Good Friday, we will be out from 2–4pm at The Waterfront, Sovereign Harbour, creating a simple space to connect with one another.

If you’re nearby, we’d really love you to pop by—even if just for a minute to say hello.

We’re inviting you to:
✨ Add something you’re grateful for (big or small) to a community board.

✨ Take a quiet moment to pause and reflect.

✨ Share something you’re going through—put it on a piece of paper (it can be anonymous) and pin it to the prayer board (if you would like someone to pray for you, we'd be honoured - completely optional)

We’ll also have free Easter eggs to give away - yes, completely free. 😀

Whether life feels good, hard, or somewhere in between—you’re so welcome.

We’d really love to see some of you there. 💛

To know Him is not just to understand—it’s to experience.

Like finding a fountain that never runs dry, His grace meets us again and again—refreshing, renewing, restoring. We don’t earn it. We simply come thirsty.

“In Your light we receive light.”

When we step into His presence, everything begins to change. We see more clearly. We live more freely. We are filled from within.

Come and drink. 'If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink."

When life feels heavy, it’s easy to wonder if God is still good… or if His care reaches as far as your situation.

But His Word gently reminds us:

“The Lord is good to all,
and His tender mercies are over all His works.” — Psalm 145:9

Not some. Not a few. All.

That means even here. Even now. Even for you.

His goodness isn’t distant or harsh—it’s tender. It meets you in the quiet places, in the struggle, in the moments no one else sees. His mercy doesn’t rush past your pain; it draws near with compassion and strength.

If today feels difficult, hold onto this:
God is still good.
His mercy is still reaching.
And His strength is gentle enough to carry you through.

Take a moment to rest in that truth today.

Fear has a way of speaking loudly—filling our minds with “what ifs,” doubts, and uncertainty about the future.

But God’s voice speaks something greater.

“Do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you.” — Isaiah 41:10

When anxiety rises, it can be hard to believe that God is near, that He cares, that He is able. Yet His promises don’t depend on how we feel—they stand firm in who He is.

You are not forgotten.
You are not alone.
You are held by a God who is strong enough for every fear you carry.

Today, choose to trust—not in your circumstances, but in His faithfulness.

He alone is able. And He is with you.

In a world that never seems to slow down, where our minds are constantly racing and our days feel full, it’s easy to lose our sense of peace.

But God gently reminds us to pause.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Stillness isn’t weakness—it’s trust. It’s choosing to rest in His presence, even when life feels overwhelming.

Take a moment today. Breathe. Be still. He is with you.

In Christ, we are made new. As we approach a New Year, let’s be reminded we are a new creation. The past no longer defines us - we walk forward in freedom and hope. As we step into a new year soon, let’s embrace the fresh start God gives us in Jesus.

Pray with me:
Lord, thank you for making me new in Christ. Forgive my past mistakes and help me to live in the freedom You’ve given me. Lead me into this new season with faith and hope.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Our Missional Thought This Week:

The world longs for peace, and Christmas is the perfect moment to share it. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and His presence changes everything.

Your challenge: Share Jesus’ peace this Christmas season - through reconciliation, forgiveness, generosity, or simply slowing down enough, to love others well.

How can you live the mission?

The birth of Jesus brought heaven’s peace into our world. This peace is not fragile - it’s deep, steady, and lasting. As we celebrate Jesus’ birth, let’s welcome His peace into our hearts and homes.

Pray with me:
Lord, thank you for the gift of peace that came with you, Jesus. Forgive me when I let worry steal my joy. Fill my heart with Your peace and let it overflow my life, and into the lives of others.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
