☕️🍰 Coffee & Cake Morning at Headon Church 🍰☕️

Come along for a lovely, relaxed morning at St Peter’s Church, Headon on Saturday 5th September, 10am–12 noon.

Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, some delicious homemade cake and a bit of good company. Whether you’re a familiar face or someone we haven’t met before, everyone is very welcome.

A chance to pop in, have a chat, meet some people and simply enjoy a little time together.

We’d love to see you there! ☕️🍰

What a wonderful turnout for our Well Blessing, the first to take place in Headon for over 25 years 🌸

The afternoon began with a walk across the fields from the church to the well where we gathered for a blessing, prayers and a beautiful poem celebrating the well and its history. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible and to Dick Lewis for leading the blessing.

It was lovely to see people come together to celebrate a tradition that has been absent from the village for so long. The sunshine, refreshments and conversation afterwards made for a wonderful afternoon of community spirit.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We hope this is the beginning of a tradition that will continue to grow in the years ahead ☀️🙏

💧 Well Blessing – Sunday 21st June 💧

Everyone is warmly invited to join us for our Well Blessing at the historic Headon Well.

We will leave St Peter’s Church at 2.15pm and walk across the fields to the well, where the blessing service will begin at 3.00pm. Please wear suitable footwear.

For those unable to make the walk, parking is available at Mill Farm, Nether Headon.

Following the service, refreshments will be served in the Village Hall.

The well has been an important part of village life for generations, and we would love to see familiar faces and new faces alike as we come together to celebrate this special place and tradition.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces enjoying cake, conversation and the evening entertainment together. We are delighted to have raised almost £500 towards the future of St Peter’s Church 🍰 ☕️

Join us for a welcoming weekend of flower displays, church history, music and community at the heart of Headon. We’d love to fill the church once again with familiar faces, new faces and the warm community spirit of days gone by.
