🌿 Happy St Bartholomew’s Day! 🌿

Today we celebrate St Bartholomew, giving thanks for his faith, witness and service — and we also take this opportunity to give thanks for everyone who supports our church and helps it remain at the heart of our community.

Our church is here not simply as a building, but as a place of welcome, prayer, friendship, compassion and hope. Week by week, through worship, pastoral care, community events, celebrations, times of sadness and the ordinary moments of life, we seek to be always there for our community and always ministering to our community.

To everyone who gives their time, talents, prayers, encouragement and generosity — thank you. Your support enables the church to continue serving, welcoming and walking alongside people throughout our community.

On this St Bartholomew’s Day, we celebrate with gratitude for all that has been, with joy for all that is, and with hope for all that is still to come.

Happy St Bartholomew’s Day to you all.

Join us this evening at 6.30pm for our very special summer evening service ‘Hymns and Pimms’.

We will be singing your favourite hymns followed by Pimms and usual refreshments kindly donated by The Gate Inn - thanks Chris.

The service will be led by our vicar, Revd Nigel Stones with guest organist Stephen Carey. The bells will be ringing out also on this lovely summer evening.

All are very welcome especially anyone new to visiting our church.

On Sunday 23rd August we have two services. The first is a family service led by the Reverend Dick Lewis at 9.30 am and the second is a service of Hymns and Pimms at 6.30 pm led by the Reverend Nigel Stones. We are celebrating our patron saint Saint Bartholomew whose feast day is August 24th.
