We will be hosting our first session of the Dove Cafe for Kilbryde Hospice this Friday from 1-2:30pm in the church.

The Kilbryde Hospice Dove Cafes are held in a variety of places in South Lanarkshire. Our aim is to foster a hospice without walls taking our services to your community. The Dove Cafe is designed to encourage kindness, connection and support to members of your community that are experiencing loss, bereavement or affected by a life limiting illness, including frailty.

Please come and find a warm welcome at our church (Please use the main church entrance).

Tonight we had 53 primary school children come through the door for our last night at Guardians of Ancora holiday club. 😢😢

The Keeper of the Keys and Kal started to talks about the treasures we had found this week before the Shiner arrived to bring us more news, interesting facts and this time his dogs smelly old blanket.

Our young guardians went on a their final teasure hunt and found the clue for Fabula's story.

Fabula brought us the story of the 5 loafs & 2 fishes.

Kal shared some hilarious jokes and some amazing drawings tonight😂😂👍🏻👍🏻

Swift & Dash continued on their new quest for the lantern, and helped some new younger Guardians on their first quest.

Our Guardians enjoyed some games & crafts before the night was finished off with our fabulous in house band the Firebugs 🤘🏻🎉

Our Guardians have been learning a bible verse this week, and have managed to do it with all the words missing👍🏻👍🏻 🫶🏻 with some of our younger Guardians doing it on their own with no help🫶🏻🫶🏻.

The verse they have been learning is Matthew 22:37. "Jesus says Love the lord your God with all your heart,soul and mind". 🫶🏻

You and your family are invited to the Guardians of Ancora Celebration service this Sunday at 11am, and then afterwards for a light lunch.

Tonight we had 55 primary school children come through the door again for our 4th and second last night of Guardians of Ancora holiday club. 😢😢

Tonight the Shiner brought us more news, interesting facts and this time, he brought a Marmite pie 🤢

The Keeper of the Keys had a large parcel that needed the guardians to help open which apart from lots of sweets🥰 had tonights treasure.

Fabula brought us a story about 4 faithful friends based on the treasure found by our guardians.

Kal shared some more questionable jokes and drawings again tonight, thankfully the jokes are improving 😜😂

Swift & Dash, our young apprentice guardians continued on their quest, after both went in the wrong direction, got back on track after some wise words & guidance from the Shiner.

Our young Guardians enjoyed some games & crafts before the night was finished off with our fabulous in house band the Firebugs 🤘🏻🎉

Tonight we had 59 primary school children come through the door again for our 3rd night of Guardians of Ancora holiday club. Fabula brought us a story about healing based on the treasure found by our new guardians.

Kal shared more "questionable jokes" and great pictures, while and the Keeper of the Keys found some important keep save documents which turned out to have a hidden message which our young Guardians helped to find the answer from on the map.

Swift & Dash, our young apprentice guardians continued on their first quest, but things are not going well between our you apprentices tonight

The Shiner brought us more news, interesting facts and this time he brought some butter 🧈

The Guardians enjoyed some games & crafts before the night was finished off with our fabulous in house band the Firebugs 🤘🏻🎉

Tonight we had 59 primary school children come through the door for our 2nd night of Guardians of Ancora holiday club. Fabula looked slightly different tonight but was fabulous as always and brought us another story based on the treasure found by our new guardians.

Kal shared some great pictures and some interesting jokes that our young guardians put in the treasure chest. Swift & Dash, our young apprentice guardians continued on their first quest set by the Guildmaster, although forgot some important essentials in their rugsacks.

The Shiner brought us more news and some nice fruit!!!!. While our Guardians enjoyed some games & crafts before the night was finished off with our fabulous in house band the Firebugs 🤘🏻🎉

Night 1 is done, and what a night it was 🎉. We had 58 primary school children come through the door for our Guardians of Ancora holiday club. Fabula was Fabulous as always and brought us a story based on the treasure found by our new guardians.

We met Swift & Dash, our young apprentice guardians who were given their first quest by the Guildmaster. Kal took us fishing, the Keeper of the Keys got a bit confused with the memory verse 🤣 and The Shiner brought the news along with cabbage trifle 🤢🤣.

The night was finished off with our fabulous in house band the Firebugs🤘🏻

We are looking forward to tomorrow night for more fun and adventures.
