Its just past 11.30pm. I have just returned from the car park, having encouraged a vehicle to move on. Lets just say they were not studying irregular latin verbs. We have to do something more to ensure the security of the parish precints.

Recently, the parish defibrillator funded so generously by our community in memory of a much-loved parishioner was called into action during a cardiac emergency near the church. The ambulance service was able to direct a bystander to it, showing just how important it is that this life-saving equipment is registered and accessible. Thankfully, the paramedics arrived quickly and it wasn’t needed on this occasion, but its presence could have made all the difference.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and supported this initiative. Your kindness has provided a vital resource for our community. We will also be arranging a short refresher session soon to help anyone who would like to feel more confident using the defibrillator - details will be shared shortly.

On this third Sunday of Lent at all Masses, we will have a small book about Joe Wilson's life for sale.

Joe Wilson was a young parishioner of the diocese who passed away unexpectedly in 2011. He left behind diaries which detailed his devotion to the Church and to his strong faith. The Vatican is currently reviewing a submission to open his cause for sainthood.

With Joe's cause gaining traction around the world, why not pick up a copy and spread the word?
