Ride + Stride is THIS SATURDAY!

This Saturday, 12th September, we’re taking part in Ride + Stride for Churches, walking, cycling and driving between local churches to help raise vital funds and support our wonderful historic churches.

Our church will also be OPEN 9am - 4pm on the day, so whether you’re taking part or simply passing by, please pop in and say hello. Everyone is very welcome!

St Bart’s Macmillan Coffee Morning!

Join us on Saturday 26th September, 10am–12 noon for coffee, delicious cake and plenty of good company!

Come along, bring a friend and help us raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Every cuppa and slice of cake helps support this fantastic cause.

📚✨ A BRAND-NEW BOOK CLUB IS COMING TO ST BART’S! ✨📚

We’re really excited to be starting our FREE community Book Club on Thursday 24th September, 3–5pm!

Parents and carers, why not come along after school and join us for a relaxed, friendly afternoon?

Our Book Club is about so much more than being a confident reader. Children of all reading abilities are warmly welcome. There’ll be friendly people on hand to listen to children read, help them along or simply read a story to them.

And there’s plenty more to enjoy too, colouring, chatting, books, light refreshments and after-school snacks!

- Children of all ages and abilities welcome
- Parents, carers and adult readers are very welcome too
- Read yourself, read together, listen to a story
- Colouring and activities available
- Light refreshments provided
- Starting Thursday 24th September, 3–5pm
- Then every 4th Thursday of the month

The Book Club is completely FREE to attend. If you’re able to, we’ll gratefully welcome optional donations to help us cover refreshments, books and activities.

Come straight from school, grab a snack, find a book, do some colouring and spend a little time with us. No need to be a brilliant reader, just come along and join in!

🔊 It’s been nearly a month with our new sound system!

We’re delighted to say that the feedback so far has been excellent! It’s great to know that the improved sound is making a positive difference during our services and gatherings at St Bart’s.

🚶🚴🚗 Join us for Ride + Stride 2026!

On Saturday 12th September 2026, we’re inviting you to be part of our team as we raise money for St Bart’s, Lower Cam, St John’s, Slimbridge and St Bartholomew’s, Coaley.

Whether you choose to walk, cycle or drive, you can follow a circular route between our three beautiful churches, starting from St Bart’s, Lower Cam at 9:30am.

All three churches will be open throughout the day giving you a wonderful opportunity to explore, meet new people and support your local churches.

Ride+Stride is better with company! Why not get a group of friends, family or colleagues together and make a day of it? 👟

Choose your route, set yourselves a challenge and see how many churches you can visit. Some churches will also have refreshments, activities and events taking place along the way.

And if you're planning a route and would be happy for others to join you, let us know. We often hear from people looking for organised walks or groups to take part with.
