Some of you will have noticed the absence of our church wardens at the Easter Sunday service. While in London for a wedding, they found the time to visit St Mary’s, Harrow on the Hill’s dawn service at Harrow School, overlooking the scene of London, and the arch of Wembley Stadium, as dawn broke. Following this they made a dash across the London Underground and an hour long queue to get into Westminster Abbey for their Sung Eucharist for Easter Day. This service culminated with them taking communion at the foot of the grave of the Unknown Warrior. From this trip, there’s some new ideas for St Paul’s for next Easter Day.
