St Nics Church exists to see many people taking up Jesus’ invitation: to encounter God for the first and latest time, learning to live increasingly Jesus-shaped lives, and working with Him to make a difference. It was a joy to gather on Sunday for worship across our 9am, 11am, and 6.30pm services.

We drew together three weeks on the story Jesus tells of the father who lost two sons (Luke 15:11-32) with an invitation to encounter and receive God’s grace.

God doesn’t make us climb up a ladder to reach him, but demonstrates his extravagant love by running to meet us where we are.

Join the team here at St Nics!

Our heart is to see many people encountering Jesus, learning from him, and working with him. In the heart of the city, for Durham, and from the heart of the city, for the world. An associate minister will help us to work towards this vision.

We believe that this is an incredibly exciting time for St.Nics. In this season, we are praying for God to call the right person who will increase our capacity to respond to all that He is doing.
