Church closed update

Protection has been provided inside the church to remove the danger and the church has now re-opened. Further works are necessary and may require the church to be closed. We will keep you posted.

St Michael and All Angels, Witton Gilbert.

Due to a heavy fall of plasterwork above the glazed entrance door, the church has been closed to the general public. It is hoped to resolve this problem next week. The congregation are assured that services, particularly this Sunday’s Mother’s Day Service, will go ahead with access only permitted through the Vestry. Similarly, Breathing Space activities will continue under the same conditions. A Portaloo toilet will be provided as access to the toilet and office is not possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Saturday 7th December 10-12 Wreath Making - donations appreciated.

Saturday 21st December 4pm Children’s Crib Service with special guest

Sunday 22nd December 6pm Lessons and Carols

Tuesday 24th December 11:30pm Midnight Mass

Wednesday 25th December 9:15am Christmas Day Service

This afternoon was the Children’s Crib Service held at St Michael and All Angels. It was indeed a lovely service. Lots of children enjoying the nativity story by dressing up……. and what a surprise at the end. It was all a little bit special. Thank you to St Michael & All Angels for holding the service but a huge thank you to CHAD for getting the village on board with this service and for the special visitor at the end 🎅
